Our goal was to create an engaging, informative hub for climate news and resources, designed to empower individuals and communities. We aimed to provide accessible content that inspires learning and drives meaningful action, building a platform that supports community growth and climate impact.

Process

The Climate Channel team came to us with a clear vision: they wanted to cover a broad range of topics while engaging and educating their audience on climate issues. Our job was to distill and organize this vast amount of information into a seamless, dynamic experience that would inform, inspire, and drive action.

Discovery & Planning

We began by creating a meticulously structured sitemap, ensuring every topic was placed logically and intuitively. Alongside this, we developed a moodboard to define the visual direction for the new brand, and empower Climate Channel’s mission — positive, forward-thinking, and purpose-driven.

Branding

The goal with the Climate Channel branding was to reflect the intersection of environmental urgency, impactful news, and a spirit of bold discovery. Arctic mountains framed by a rising sun and compass, symbolizes hope and the promise of a new day in the fight against climate change. The clean, sober color palette, paired with a strong, minimalist font, grounds the brand in the serious reality of climate issues while allowing room for optimism.

Architecture & Wireframing

We mapped out the user journey with precise wireframes, ensuring a smooth, intuitive flow from one section to the next. This blueprint was designed to balance the breadth of topics with an accessible navigation system, making it easy for users to find what they’re looking for while encouraging deeper exploration.

Web Design

The web design features clean lines and a structured layout, inspired by the sharp beauty of glaciers and the clarity of crisp, cold air. We used strong messaging and high-impact visuals to capture the urgency of the climate conversation, with stunning, crystal-clear photography that invites users to immerse themselves in the content.

Unique Glossary Feature

A key feature of the site is the unique climate glossary, designed to make complex terms and concepts more accessible. Integrated into the content, users can click on climate-related terms for instant definitions, as well as explore other terms. This ensures that every visitor, regardless of their level of expertise, can engage with the material.

Responsive Development

We prioritized an accesible, responsive design to ensure that the site looks and functions beautifully across all devices. Whether on desktop, tablet, or mobile, the site adapts seamlessly, providing a consistent and engaging user experience that invites interaction and participation from any screen size.

Slice of Life, a dynamic initiative of Food & Friends, sought a digital solution that would celebrate its mission: providing delicious pies to support neighbors with life-altering illnesses. With a goal of merging community involvement with a seamless purchasing experience, Slice of Life needed a refreshed online platform that could amplify its story and engage its supporters.

MANNA Pie

MANNA, a nonprofit delivering medically tailored meals to individuals with serious illnesses, partnered with us to transform its annual Pie in the Sky peer-to-peer fundraiser through Limus' customized, user-friendly fundraising platform.

Leros Point to Point Website

A responsive website connected to a real-time reservations system for a high-end global chauffeur transportation service, featuring Ground Widgets technology.

Community Servings Website and CRM

Using our own Limus CRM and fundraising platform, this new website and fundraising engine helps a not-for-profit organization with their large annual fundraising as well as to plan volunteers schedule, track donations and organize events for feeding critically ill people in the Boston area.
