Together we established the goals for the Foundation's redesign - the content flow needed streamlining and the design needed to have an austere but not unwelcoming presence. We wanted to land with a prestigious, intuitive website that effortlessly balances elegance with accessibility, honoring the Foundation’s legacy while empowering meaningful engagement.

Our approach was to create a site that was visually appealing while integrating the long history of the Foundation.

Design

The redesign needed to support the stories of Alfred E. Smith, the Foundation, and the children they support. Combining event and historical photography and creating graphics to visualize impact was a key starting point, which we tied all together with classical typography and modern insights.

Development

We developed a fully responsive, easy-to-manage solution backed by WordPress CMS.

With contemporary lines and formal sensibilities, the new Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation website evokes the same high degree of prestige you can expect from one of their annual dinners.
